I have always loved photography and documenting my travels, fancy lattes, etc. (thank you to all my friends for allowing me to photograph our drinks before taking a sip) so my photography journey started somewhat organically. In 2018, a dear friend of mine and her new fiancé asked me if I could use their fancy Canon to capture some pictures for them to send as an engagement announcement and Valentine’s Day card. I was so honored, and loved using their camera, so naturally decided I needed one of my own to document more adventures and (of course) latte art. Little did I know I would start photographing showers, birthday and engagement parties, and my very favorite - holiday card photos! I think it’s so fun to capture these moments in our lives, especially since so much is documented through photos these days.

Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Santa Clara University and studied Digital Photography at the Community School of Music and Arts located in Mountain View, CA.
